Kia Motors launched a 6-seater variant of Carnival at Rs 28.95 lakhs (ex-showroom) and discontinued the 9-seater variant. Kia with its Carnival has been aggressive in keeping it updated with the features. Carnival recently also received an update that was much more appealing.

The latest 6-seater variant will replace the Prestige 9-seater variant. The latest model will definitely have a larger boot space as compared to the other 7-seater and 8-seater variants of 540 litres that can be extended to 1,624 litres by folding the third row which can be further increased to 2,759 litres by folding down the second row as well.
Kia with its new model of Carnival has introduced a package of LED headlights, LED position lamps, LED fog lamps, LED tail lights, panoramic electric sunroof, and electric tailgate. Along with this the carmakers for safety offers UV protected front windows and windshield, sunshades for the second and third row, hill assist, electronic stability control, cornering brake control, front parking sensors, roll-over mitigation, and side and curtain airbags. The carmaker offers premium features inside the cabin like three-zone automatic climate control, VIP premium leather seats, smart air purifier, and dual touchscreen rear seat system.

Kia Carnival is powered by a 2.2-litre four-cylinder common rail direct injection VGT diesel engine that can produce 200PS of maximum power @ 3800 rpm and 440 Nm of peak torque @ 1500-2750 rpm. The car comes mated to an 8-speed Kias Sportsmatic transmission.
The luxury car is available in three trims - Premium, Prestige and Limousine with the availability of 7,8, and 9 seater options. With the 7-seater trim, Kia offers two models, the standard one comes with four captain seats and three sinking seats whereas the 7-seater VIP comes with VIP seats for the second-row as well.

To keep the driver engaging, the car is paired with a smooth momentum, smoother gear shifts, and sufficient power with just a tap on the accelerator. The carmakers have installed a hydraulic-assisted steering wheel which enhances the fun to drive factor of this car and inherits perfect driving dynamics. The big car comes with UVO advanced connected technology to keep the car and the driver connected to each other which also offers 37 smart features free for the first three years of purchase.
