Ampere Magnus Neo: Things To Expect
The Magnus Neo will retain the same design as the regular Magnus that is presently on sale. It will carry on with the familiar, youthful but otherwise generic looks, but with a black front apron similar to its sibling, the Primus. The headlight panel will also receive black treatment. It will also continue with the 10-inch wheels with steel rims on both ends.
The current Magnus is available in two variants; the EX and the LT, featuring a 2.2kWh battery pack with claimed range figures of 100km and 80km respectively. With the upcoming Neo, we can expect a larger capacity battery pack, while the claimed range figure could go up to between 120-130km on a single charge.
In terms of equipment, the Magnus Neo will carry on with a basic digital LCD screen with battery range info, a speedometer, an odometer and other telltale signs. Bluetooth connectivity is likely not going to be offered here. However, it is likely to come with different ride modes and a reverse mode. The Magnus Neo will also carry over drum brakes on both ends, along with telescopic forks at the front and twin shock absorbers at the rear.
The Magnus Neo will also be shown at the 2025 Auto Expo; stay tuned for our full coverage of the scooter and the show!
