While there haven’t been any recent updates on this model, Bajaj is offering discounts this October on its popular Pulsar range, including models like the Pulsar N150 and Pulsar NS200. These discounts come with cashback offers and exclusive e-commerce deals.
The Chetak electric scooter is a modern version of the iconic Chetak that ruled Indian roads from the late 70s to the 2000s, until production stopped in 2006. In 2019, the all-new Chetak Electric was launched in three variants. Recently, a new variant called the ‘Blue 3202’ was introduced at Rs 1.15 lakh, replacing the Urbane variant. It is Rs 8,000 cheaper and has a claimed range of 137 km. Apart from this, there are two more trims, ‘2903’ and ‘Premium’.

The overall design and looks of the Chetak e-scooter are futuristic and mostly curvy. With the blunt use of round and curvy body lines, round headlight with LEDs, and LED tail lights with LED indicators; the Chetak looks astonishing and subtle at the same time. The wide seat offers good riding comfort for both the rider as well pillion. It is ample space underneath the seat and in front of the seat as well. Gloss piano black rearview mirrors do look funky. It retains a retro style while giving modern features and thus catering to young buyers.

The overall size and dimensions of Chetak are quite substantial and it has a good road presence due to the overall size. The large, curvy side panels behold the battery pack and electric motor while the rear end is wider than most of the competition. The front suspension is leading-link whilst there is a mono-shock suspension at the rear to keep the Chetak gliding over the rough patches. It has a kerb weight of 132 kg

Bajaj has equipped the Chetak e-scooter with a combination of a 48 V/60.3 Ah battery pack and 4080W BLDC electric motor which are combinedly capable of producing a peak torque of 16 Nm on the twist of the throttle. This battery pack can be charged 100 percent within 5 hours of charging time. The Chetak e-scooter can complete up to 95 km of distance on a single full charge. Apart from this, Bajaj has equipped Chetak with multiple riding modes to enjoy its power delivery within the limits. Also, Bajaj has wide area of service network so the aftersales support will be unmatched.
