Bajaj enjoys a strong market hold in the South American market. Adding to its fleet of products, Bajaj Dominar 200 & 160 have been launched in Brazil. However, do not get fooled by the Dominar badge as these are essentially a re-badged version of the Pulsar NS200. Read more details on it below.

Bajaj Dominar 200 & 160 Details
Bajaj has debuted the new Dominar range in Brazil. As these bikes are a re-badged version of the Pulsar NS200 & NS160, there are no major changes. But, Bajaj is providing the USD front suspension as standard on these. Meanwhile, the Indian version still rides on the telescopic suspension. Apart from this, the rest of the bike design is more or less the same as the Indian version.
Bajaj also sells its Dominar 400 which has proven to be a good product in Brazil. The addition of new 200cc and 160cc twins is targeted towards the more budget-oriented customers. Meanwhile, the features list includes LED DRLs. alloy wheels, semi-digital instrument console, LED taillight, etc. As the design is unchanged from its Indian siblings, the trademarked NS riding position is prominent on these. Additionally, both bikes get split-seat setup as well.
Technically, the engines used on both models are the same as that of the Indian NS brand. This means that the Dominar 200 gets the 199cc, single-cylinder engine pumps out a peak power of 23.5 bhp & 18.3 Nm of peak torque. Meanwhile, the 160cc single-cylinder engine makes a peak power of 15.5 bhp & 14.6 Nm of peak torque.

The introduction of Bajaj Dominar 200 & 160 is going to prove beneficial to the brand globally. However, on its home turf in India; the brand has already launched multiple models within 2022 itself.
