Bajaj Pulsar NS400: When Will It Launch?
In a recent media interaction, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto, confirmed that Bajaj has plans to launch multiple bikes. Bajaj will introduce or update at least two models per month until May. These will also include the debut of a new NS400 and a Chetak e-scooter variant.
While fewer details are available about the NS400, it'll share parts with the other 400 siblings, like the KTM 390 Duke, Husqvarna 401, and Triumph Speed 400. The engine components and chassis components might witness part sharing. Bajaj can possibly introduce a new design language for the NS series bikes via the NS400.
For now, no exact date is confirmed for its launch, but we suspect that the new NS400 will launch around March-end. The pricing is expected to remain around Rs 2 lakh.
Bajaj CNG Bike Coming Soon?
Mr Rakesh Sharma also confirmed that the CNG bike is currently under development. Bajaj plans to introduce it by early next financial year i.e. 2025. This bike is speculated to revolutionize the commuter bike segment under 125cc. Recently, a test mule of this upcoming model was also spotted which looked a bit like the CT 110X.
This CNG model will get a primary CNG fuel tank and a secondary petrol fuel tank. This technology will primarily help tier-1 city buyers who have easy access to CNG stations. Also, B2B service operators, like delivery services, will benefit from its launch.
Verdict
Bajaj earned up to 31 percent profit from the 125cc segment in the previous fiscal year. The introduction of the biggest Pulsar will enhance its premium sales. Bajaj's plans are serious for this year. Tell us in the comments about your thoughts on the new NS400 and the CNG bike.
