Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of the Venue facelift in India and the same has been spotted several times. This time, the base variant E of the 2022 Hyundai Venue has been spied and we share with you everything about it, right from the design to the expected features and engine options.
We believe that this is the same base E variant as seen on the current Venue. Design-wise, the Venue will get the new parametric jewel theme grille design that is seen on the Tucson and will make its way to the Creta facelift too this year.
The Venue will continue with the split headlight design as before. However, the LED daytime running lights are expected to make its way into the grille just like the Tucson and Creta. The LED projector headlights remain same as before but we can expect all LED headlight design for higher variants.

This base model however will not feature halogen headlights only. Similarly, the bumper design both front and rear will be redesigned and so will be the faux skid plates. Moving towards the side, then this spy shot has been spotted with steel wheels. The higher variants of the Venue facelift will get new diamond cut alloy wheels.
Also, this spied variant does not get roof rails and shark fin antenna which the top-spec variants will come with. We believe that just like the current base E variant, this facelifted base trim too will receive body coloured outside rear view mirrors and door handles.
At the rear, we do expect LED taillights right from the base variant of the Venue and a think chrome bar that'll connect the taillights. Hyundai will also bring the facelifted Venue that will not only be sportier version over the regular variants but also pack in more features.

Feature-wise, this time we do expect a 2-Din music system with the Venue and all-four power windows. In the current version, it only gets front two power windows. Similarly, like its sibling Kia Sonet, we do expect safety features like TPMS and four airbags as standard.
For the base variant, Hyundai will continue with the 1.2-litre, four-cylinder, naturally aspited petrol motor. This motor generates as much as 82 bhp of power with a peak torque of 114 Nm. It gets mated to a 5-speed manual transmission only. The higher variants of the Venue gets a more powerful, 1.0L turbo petrol motor. This same engine will be seen with the N-Line Venue too.
