Honda Elevate has secured the first position on our list of our best mid-size SUVs under Rs 20 lakh. This mid-size SUV comes powered by a potent 1.5-litre engine that churns out 119 bhp of power and 145 Nm of torque. The Unique characteristic of Elevate is its traditional design language which offers a spacious cabin. Apart from this, the SUV has a ground clearance of 220mm. You get advanced features such as a sunroof, and a big 10.25-inch infotainment system Other notable features of the Elevate include electronic stability control and Honda Sensing ADAS which is offered in the higher ZX trim.

The Hyundai Creta is offered in three engine options- 1.5 litre NA petrol, 1.5-litre Turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine. After the 2024 update, the SUV has received multiple cosmetic changes which include full LED DRLs, 17-inch alloy wheels and a new grille.
As for the features, the SUV comes with a 10.25-inch infotainment display, a fully digital instrument console, dual-zone climate control and a 360-degree camera. Additionally, the new Creta gets ADAS level 2 suite, up to 70 safety features and disc brakes for all four wheels. Safety features of the SUV include electronic stability control and 6 airbags.
Hyundai introduced the new turbo unit with a new Creta update. The 1.5-litre turbo engine generates a maximum power output of 158 bhp and a peak torque of 253 Nm and comes mated to a 6-speed DCT transmission.

The MG Astor is offered in two engine options in India- a 1.5-litre petrol engine that churns out the maximum power of 110 PS and 144 Nm as standard. There's also a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine on option which comes paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
As for the features, the MG Astor offers features such as a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play support, ventilated seats, a 7-inch digital driver's display, a 6-way power adjustable driver seat and most importantly a panoramic sunroof.
Safety features of the Astor include six airbags, an Advanced driver assistance system (ADAS), and ISOFIX child seat anchorages. The Volkswagen Taigun comes powered by a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine which makes 115 PS of power and 178 Nm of torque.
