The BYD Seal EV, stretching 4.8 meters long and boasting a spacious 2.92-meter wheelbase exudes sporty and fluidic stance. This low-slung sedan offers both practicality with its 400-liter boot and 53-liter frunk, and pure style with its sleek design. Powertrain, Battery, And Range

The Seal sedan, available in international markets, offers two battery pack options: a 61.4kWh unit with a 500km CLTC range and an 82.5kWh battery claiming 700km of range. The latter is expected to arrive in India. Powered by BYDs patented Blade Battery technology, it can be charged at speeds up to 150kW. The dual motorsone on each axlegenerate a combined 530hp and 670Nm of torque. The AWD Seal achieves a 0-100kph time of 3.8 seconds and boasts a top speed of 180kph.

Expected Price And Rivals

Bookings have already commenced for the vehicle, even before its official pricing, anticipated to hover around Rs 50 lakh. Following the price revelation, deliveries will ensue, marking BYD's third entry into the Indian passenger vehicle segment, following the Atto 3 SUV and e6 MPV.
