Citroen C3 has made its official beginning in India. The hatchback is now launched from introductory pricing of Rs 5.70 - 8.05 lakh ex-showroom. The C3 is the most affordable offering from the French car maker in India. As per the company, it has been designed to target the mass segment cars. Citroen sees the C3 as a game changer for itself in the Indian car market.

Citroen C3 Launch Details
As per the company, the C3 is made for the Indians by the Indians. By this, the company means that it has 90 percent of localized parts used in the construction. Thanks to the heavy localization, the C3 has been priced aggressively for now. Mind you, these prices may increase in the coming future.
Speaking of the details, it comes in two engine variants. The first is a 1.2-Lt PURETECH 82 naturally aspirated, 3-cylinder petrol engine. The peak power stands at 82 PS & the peak torque at 115 Nm. The second engine is a turbocharged variant that makes 110 PS of peak power and 190 Nm of peak torque. Both of the engine options are available only with manual transmission.

The company is also providing 24/7 roadside assistance. Customers can also take the delivery of the car directly from the factory. Doorstep delivery option is also available.
Citroen will be selling the C3 in 19 cities pan India via its expanding dealership network. These cities will include - New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kochi, Chennai, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Nagpur, Vizag, Calicut, and Coimbatore. The company also plans to add more cities to this list in the coming time.
Additionally, the company claims that new buyers can enjoy the 100 percent online buying service. This service helps the buyers to purchase the car without even visiting the showroom via the official website.
