Alloys wheels increase the overall visual appeal of a vehicle by many folds. However, the brands today do not offer alloy wheels on the lower variants and the alloy wheels available in the aftermarket are usually too expensive or not of great quality. If your car does not have alloy wheels and you want that alloy wheel look in your car without spending a lot of money, here is a quick guide on how to convert Tata Nexon wheel caps to alloys under Rs 300 only.
What you are seeing in the images are some of the examples of the alloy wheels which have been painted to look like alloy wheels with the dual-tone finish. We got hold of these images from various Facebook groups and here is how you can do the same with your car:
- Wash and clean the wheel caps.
- Use masking tape to cover the portion that you do not want to paint.
- Use spray paint to paint the wheel caps. Apply 2-3 coats for a good finish.
- Let the paint dry and apply one more coat.
- Once the paint is dry, carefully remove the masking tape and reinstall the wheel caps to the rims.
