The new Hyundai Tucson was recently introduced in the global markets and boasts an impressive package to those looking for a premium and powerful SUV. As per Hyundai spokesperson, the cars that were recently seen in India were being transported to Nepal. While it is still not clear when the car will be introduced in India, it will be the most expensive SUV in Hyundai's line-up in India when it finally goes on sale here. Hyundai currently sells 12 models in the Nepal market and the new Tucson is one of them. Here are all the details that you should know about the 2022 Hyundai Tucson.
For starters, the new 2022 Hyundai Tucson boasts a modern and more aggressive front fascia with a large grille in the centre with prominent LED headlamps on either side. The side profile too is updated now and features a sharp and prominent shoulder line. The alloy wheels too are new. Things at the rear too are different and modern. The taillights are now replaced with new LED units while the rear bumper gets a faux skid plate and large reflectors.

Inside, the 2022 Hyundai Tucson gets an updated cabin with a longer features list and a new dashboard layout. In India, the car is expected to offer features like wireless charging, a large touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, air purifier, ambient lighting, push-button start, automatic climate control and electric seat adjustment. In addition to this, the car will also offer features like front seat ventilation, rear AC vents, electric tailgate opening, etc. On the safety front, the Tucson will be offered with six airbags, traction control, ABS, EBD, ISOFIX mounts, and many other features that will help its case dominate when compared to the rivals.
In Nepal, the car can be had with two engine options that include a 2.0-L diesel and a 2.0-L petrol motor. The peak power and torque output from the 2.0-L petrol engine stand at 156 Ps and 192 Nm respectively while the diesel on the other hand delivers peak power and torque output of 186 Ps and 416 Nm respectively. The Hyundai Tucson is currently one of the most premium SUVs currently on in the Nepal market. The Korean carmaker is also expected to launch the car in the Indian market in the coming months.
