One thing is for sure in this pandemic that car sales are least affected. Even with the pandemic, carmakers have shown growth in sales. We have seen several launches and to our surprise, they all have been doing good. Well, except a few. Coming to the next launch which is of the upcoming 2020 Tata Tiago NRG. Yes, the car is not yet out but we have the exclusive rendered images of how the upcoming crossover type 2020 Tata Tiago NRG might look like.
Before we go further and share the design details of 2020 Tiago NRG, make sure you have joined our exclusive 91Wheels Whatsapp group where we share all the insights of what's happening in the Indian Automotive Industry. It helps in connecting like-minded people who have an interest in cars and bikes.
Sharing the design details then this has been done in the Victory Yellow shade and has a contrast black colour to it. In our opinion, this contrast colour scheme gels well and look good to the eyes. Well, looks are always a subjective matter.

At the front, the black bumper gives an aggressive look and gets a mesh design. The silver faux skid plate really improves the aesthetic of the crossover to give it a sporty appeal. The fog lights are the same from the regular Tiago model.
The body cladding from the side looks good and gives the crossover a raw look. Like the front, the rear bumper also gets faux skidplate finished in silver. What seems to be prominent here is the huge cladding placed across the length of the boot lid. The only change is that it has now grown in size than before.
The Tiago NRG also features body rails, contrast black colour on the ORVMs, roof and on the endpoints of the spoiler. It will continue to come with 14-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The only difference other than the cosmetic changes will be the increase in ground clearance to 180 mm now.

A touchscreen infotainment system, multi-function steering wheel, 4-star Global NCAP rating, ABS with EBD, high-speed alert system, rear parking sensors and among other features will be continued from the regular Tiago.
Under the hood, the NRG will pack in the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol which makes 84 bhp with 113 Nm of peak torque. It is expected to come with a stick shift only. The prices of Tiago NRG is not out but we expect a hike of about Rs 40,000 over the regular model. Tata might bring the NRG over the XZ+ variant which is the top-spec version.
