Ford India is all set to launch the Figo petrol automatic tomorrow and we have all the details you have been looking for. Mechanically, nothing will be changed and the torque converter will be paired to the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. This unit churns out 95 bhp at 6500 RPM with a peak torque of 119 Nm at 4250 RPM. A 5-speed stick shift comes as standard with the 1.2L unit.
This is the same 6-speed torque converter gearbox that we have seen in the Ecosport. Over there, this unit is paired with the bigger 1.5L engine. That generates 121 bhp with 149 Nm of peak torque. If there's a whole new engine change for the Figo Automatic, we believe this hot hatch will directly rival the Hyundai i20 turbo and Volkswagen Polo TSI.

As of now, we believe that the automatic transmission will come in Titanium and Titanium Blu variants. The price for both the variants stick to Rs 6.82 lakh and Rs 7.27 lakh respectively. We believe that th torque converter will surely attract a higher figure than the stick shift. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
Feature-wise, Figo continues with a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, push-button start/stop, power-folding ORVMs, tilt-adjustable steering wheel, rain-sensing wipers, and others. Since the automatic version of the Figo will be launched, features like remote start/stop will be easily accessible with the help of Ford Pass. Also, Figo Automatic will come with a new alloy wheel design.
