Tata Motors has confirmed that they are coming up with as many as 4 new electric SUVs by the Q1 of 2024. Among the is the highly anticipated Tata Harrier EV, updated Nexon EV, Punch EV, and the Tata Curvv EV. While few are lined up for later this year, the Curvv EV is set to debut in early 2024 while the updated Tata Nexon EV is coming anytime soon in 2023.

Tata Electric SUVs Launch Timeline
The updated Tata Nexon EV, one that has been spotted while testing can make its way anytime soon as per the brand. After this, the Harrier EV, Punch EV, and then finally, Tata Curvv EV are next in line in Q1 of 2024.
Addressing the shareholders, N Chandrasekaran, Chairman of Tata Sons said, "Tata Motors India, as well as JLR, has extensive plans on EVs. Tata Motors have launched a number of products already. We have a new upgraded Nexon, which will be launched anytime this year. We will then be launching the Harrier, Punch, and finally the Curvv towards the first quarter next year.

Updated Tata Nexon EV Coming Up First
TATA Motors' upcoming electric SUV lineup is set to kick off with the launch of the refreshed Nexon EV. The confirmation came from Tata Sons Chairman N Chandrasekaran during a shareholder address. A debut during the festive season, both the Nexon facelift and Nexon EV facelift are sharing most of the updates seen on the test mules of the Nexon facelift. This launch marks a significant step forward in TATA's electric vehicle roadmap, further solidifying its position in the electric mobility market.
The forthcoming Nexon facelift draws design inspiration from Tata's Curvv concept, a philosophy that also influences the upcoming Harrier EV. There are notable visual updates on the Nexon facelift. It includes vertically aligned headlamps, LED DRLs, and refreshed grille design. The front bumper incorporates an integrated camera, while anticipated enhancements encompass ORVM cameras, a 3600 surround-view monitor, and a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen.
JLR Expanding Its EV Portfolio Globally
Tata Motors conveys a bold vision for the future, outlining plans for a substantial shift toward green technology. By 2030, Mr. Chandrasekaran aims for 50% of Tata Motors' passenger vehicles and 65% of JLR vehicles to embrace eco-friendly solutions. The company's product launch strategy includes the introduction of four new SUVs to bolster its EV lineup. Notably, JLR is set to initiate bookings for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport EVs in October, while a fleet of new Jaguar EVs is anticipated to make their debut on roads by 2025.
