Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will launch in September 2024, as confirmed by a reputed media channel. This will be the Korean brand's first big launch before they unveil their much-anticipated Creta EV, which has been spotted several times during its testing phase. The Alcazar is an extended version of the Creta, making it more luxurious and less sporty. The front end will be similar to the Creta, but it will feature a new rear end and special new alloy wheels.

How Will The Exterior Of The Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Look?
Based on several test mule photos, the Alcazar facelift appears to get a new grille with a lot of chrome, giving it a premium look. The striking feature I noticed was the 8-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels, which look fantastic. Regarding the rear end, we can expect a new set of taillights and a newly designed bumper. However, the test mule photos only give us hints; the reality could be much different.
The Interior Of The New Hyundai Alcazar Facelift
The upcoming Alcazar facelift will feature the same 10.25-inch infotainment display and 10.25-inch multi-information display. The dashboard layout is also expected to remain unchanged, with the only likely change being the interior color scheme, which might feature beige instead of the black and white interior of the Creta. Additionally, the rear pilot seats may come with ventilation options.
Engine Options In The Alcazar Facelift
The 1.5 L Turbo Petrol engine, which produces 160 PS and 253 Nm of torque, will be seen in the Alcazar Facelift, paired with a 7-speed DCT. The second option will be the 1.5 L CRDi Diesel, producing 116 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque.
Moreover, this engine is available with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmission. To add more, Hyundai does not offer a naturally aspirated 1.5 L Petrol engine for this model, considering it long wheelbase and weight.
Expected Price Of The Alcazar Facelift
The expected ex-showroom price of this elongated vehicle could be between Rs 17 to 22 lakh, with the launch expected this September.

Verdict
Now that the launch is confirmed, I can't wait to see what Hyundai does with this 7-seater vehicle in India. The Creta is already selling like hotcakes this summer season, and the Alcazar is definitely going to make an impressive start, considering they are essentially the same vehicle. Additionally, Hyundai is offering special discounts on the current Alcazar before the new one arrives, so if you like the current generation, head to your nearest Hyundai dealer soon.
