The introduction of the Venue N Line has expanded Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) performance-focused N Line lineup in India. Compared to the ordinary Venue variations, the Hyundai Venue N Line has some performance-focused features and improvements. Hyundai has introduced the Venue N Line in two variants, with prices starting at Rs. 12.16 lakh and going up to Rs. 13.30 lakh (ex-showroom). In this article, we'll have a look at the pros and cons of the Hyundai Venue N Line.
Pros
N Line Specific Elements
A Dark Chrome front grille, a rear tailgate spoiler, and N Line badges on the front grille, front side fenders, and tailgate are few of the N Line-specific features that Hyundai has integrated. The N Line model of the car is the only one that offers the 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels with the N emblem. Additionally, the rear profile receives a functioning dual-tip exhaust that, when driven spiritedly, emits a delicious sound. Also, the brand has tuned the suspension and steering to give a better drive experience.
Punchy 1.0-litre Turbo Petrol Engine
The Venue N Line's 1.0-liter turbo GDi petrol engine that comes with a 2nd Gen 7-Speed DCT gearbox and can generates 172 Nm of torque and 118 bhp of power. Drive Mode Select, another feature of the Hyundai Venue N Line, allows users to choose between Normal, Eco, and Sport settings.
Feature Loaded
Hyundai is known for packing its cars with a tonne of features, and the Venue N Line is no exception. The Venue N Line includes features such as a 4-way electrically adjustable driver seat, a cooled glove box, leatherette seats, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automated temperature control, paddle shifters, a wireless charger, and push-button start.
Better Safety Features
The Venue N Line has over 30 safety features, including more than 20 basic safety features. Some of the Standard Safety Features are Vehicle Stability Management (VSM), Rear Parking Camera with Sensors, Hill Assist Control, Dual Front Airbags, Electronic Stability Control, ISOFIX mounts, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist System, and Headlamp Escort Functions.
Well Priced Variants
The price range for the Venue N Line's two models, the N6 and N8, is between Rs. 12.16 lakh and Rs. 13.30 lakh (ex-showroom). Given that both variants are more feature-rich than the standard Venue variants, this pricing range is justifiable.
Cons
Long Term Reliability of DCT
The DCT gearbox's long-term dependability is an issue. The climate in India is not suitable for DCT transmissions. When pushed through bumper to bumper traffic, these transmissions are prone to overheating.
Limited Number of Variants
There are just two variants of the Venue N Line; other variants could have been offered by the brand to draw in more customers.
No Manual Transmission on Offer
Some performance fans choose manual gearboxes because they want to take the complete control. There is only one DCT gearbox available for the Venue N Line.
Lack Space
Despite being a compact SUV, the Venue N Line does not have much space at the back seat. The car is best suited for four persons, and placing a third person in the back could make it unpleasant for all three rear passengers. The rear back seat can only comfortably hold two adults.
