Hero Karizma XMR 210 - What To Expect?
Hero Karizma is an iconic name in the two-wheeler segment of India. It has been a dream bike for youngsters for a long. But, with its facelifts lately, customers lost interest in it and eventually, it got discontinued. Now, Hero is developing this brand name once again. In fact, Hero showed the production-ready bike to its dealers at a closed event recently. However, no details were disclosed to the public.
Now, the latest test mule shows that the bike is ready to take on the roads. While the test mule seen here is camouflaged, it looks similar to the bike shown to the dealers. Hero will keep its design fluent and yet aggressive. The fairing panels are large while the stretched sharp LED headlight looks dominating.
The overall design is that of a sports tourer. The riding posture will be slightly converted for comfort but the overall appeal will be that of a sports bike. It'll also get the latest features like a digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity for phones, alloy wheels, dual-channel ABS, etc. But, the attractive point will be the new 210cc engine. It is a single-cylinder unit that is liquid-cooled and it is expected to generate 25 bhp of power & 30 Nm of torque. Hero aims to take on the rivals like Bajaj Pulsar 220F & the KTM RC 200 with it.
Verdict
Hero seems to be on an upgrade spree. The company is soon going to debut the all-new Xtreme 160R in India. Additionally, the Karizma XMR 210 is expected to launch in the coming months as well. Our anticipation says that Hero will launch it around Diwali. Its expected price will be around Rs 1.60 lakh - Rs 1.80 lakh.
