Starting with the Impulse, now Hero has offered the successor of the Impulse - Xpulse 200. Hero also showcased the more kitted incarnation of the Xpluse in form of a rally edition - customers can buy the rally kit from showroom now - DETAILS. Last year, the company also got a special Dakar Replica made by Delhi based KRP and the end result does look fabulous. Let's see what changes have been made to this bike and is it any better than the stock one!
In some images, the body panels and the tank are completely white but the bike with decals is the final unit. Visually, you may not find much differences over the normal Xpulse 200 but we get a white paint job with Hero decals. The taillamp cowl has been extended further, covering the taillamp.
Moreover, there are a lot of changes which you can not notice unless comparing it with the normal Xpulse side by side. The Dakar special Xpulse also gets KRP high performance upswing exhaust system.
The Hero Xpulse 200 is the most affordable adventure motorcycle one can buy in the Indian market. It also overshines its predecessor which always lacked the low-end grunt which is a necessity during offroading The Xpulse 200, thanks to a bigger engine, resolves that issue to some extent. The lightweight of the Xpulse 200 makes the offroading a breeze and it is easily chuckable due to the same reason. The Hero Xpulse Dakar edition we featured today, with more mods, adds another layer of capabilitiy to the already capable machine from Hero.
