Hero MotoCorp Discontinues Xtreme 200S 2V To Make Way For Upgraded Model
Hero MotoCorp is expanding its portfolio with several new models, including the upcoming new generation Karizma. As part of this revamp, Hero has taken a big step by discontinuing the 2V version of the Xtreme 200S from its lineup.
Earlier, Hero MotoCorp had both the 2V and 4V versions of the Xtreme 200S listed on their website. However, now they have removed the 2V model from the website, showing that they are focusing more on the upgraded variant. This move suggests that they are likely clearing out their remaining stock of the older model.

Hero Xtreme 200S 4V: Price, Colour, Powertrain, And Features
The Hero Xtreme 200S 4V is available at a price of Rs. 1,41,250 (ex-showroom Delhi). It comes in a single variant with three color options: moon yellow, Panther Black Metallic, and Matt Axis Gray Metallic. The bike is equipped with a 200cc 4V engine that delivers a maximum torque of 17.35Nm and a maximum power of 19.1 PS, paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
Some of its key features include an LED headlight, LED tail light, a fully digital instrument cluster, Bluetooth connectivity, smartphone connectivity with call and notification alerts, and turn-by-turn navigation.
The Xtreme 200S 4V competes against tough rivals: TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, Suzuki Gixxer SF, and Bajaj Pulsar RS200. Additionally, Hero MotoCorp is also set to launch the new Karizma XMR 210 on 29th August 2023, positioning it above the Xtreme 200S 4V in their lineup.
Verdict
Hero MotoCorp has followed a similar strategy as seen with the Xpulse 200 4V, discontinuing the Xtreme 200S 2V and introducing the upgraded Xtreme 200S 4V as their sole fully-faired offering.
