The Hyundai Alcazar facelift was initially expected to launch between May and June. However, with those months now behind us and the festive season approaching, it seems likely that Hyundai will release the updated model between September and October. This timing aligns with many other brands targeting the festive season for their launches.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Design Details
From time to time, sightings of the test mule have revealed a redesigned front with a new fascia, updated headlamps, and a revised grille that resembles the one on the Creta. The front bumper has also been refreshed.
Similar significant updates can be seen at the rear, with a redesigned look for the taillights, which appear to be rectangular and divided into sections. Additionally, the rear itself has been redesigned. The vehicle will also feature diamond-cut alloy wheels, similar to those found on the Creta.

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Features
The upcoming facelift model will incorporate several features from the Creta facelift, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, premium sound system, ambient lighting, dual panoramic sunroof, keyless entry, and a 360-degree camera. Additionally, more features are expected to be included.
On the safety front, this model will come equipped with Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) and other safety features found in the Creta facelift.4o
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Under The Hood
The upcoming facelift of the Alcazar will keep its current engine options unchanged. This includes a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm of torque. Buyers will have a choice between a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
In addition, it will also offer a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 114 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Price Expectation And Rivals
The current pre-facelift Alcazar ranges in price from Rs 16.77 lakh to Rs 21.28 lakh. With the upcoming facelift model, expected to launch soon, prices are anticipated to start around Rs 17.10 lakh and extend up to Rs 22 lakh. Upon its release, the facelifted Alcazar will enter a competitive segment, contending against rivals such as the Mahindra Scorpio N, Mahindra XUV 700, MG Hector Plus, and Kia Carens.
