Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Spied Testing
The updated Hyundai Alcazar Facelift will continue to carry aesthetics from the Creta facelift, as has always been the case, albeit with some differentiation. It will prominently showcase changes to both its front and rear styling, whereas the side profile remains largely similar, with new alloy wheels. The front grille will receive fresh cuts, although not similar to the Creta, with horizontal patterns, along with a split LED headlamp assembly. The lower bumper will be a refreshed unit but it seems like there will be no fog lamp housing, courtesy of the low placement of headlamps. Additionally, a radar sensor for the ADAS technology is clearly discernible in the spy images, neatly integrated into the bumper for enhanced functionality
The side profile remains similar to the current model, however, the rear is where you will notice major upgrades. For starters, you will get a new tail lamp unit that will be joined with a connected lightbar, something that is becoming a new norm in the Indian car scene. It will get a renewed bumper with a more pronounced appeal.
The upcoming Alcazar SUV facelift is expected to enrich its feature lineup with upgrades such as dual-zone climate control, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and a panoramic sunroof for an enhanced driving experience. It will also introduce Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, all-wheel disc brakes, and a comprehensive set of passive safety features including six airbags and Electronic Stability Control (ESC).

Hyundai Alcazar Facelift Engine
The upcoming Hyundai Alcazar facelift will retain its current range of engine choices. It includes a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that delivers 160 PS of power and 253 Nm of torque, paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Additionally, the facelifted model will feature a 1.5-litre diesel engine producing 116 PS of power and 250 Nm of torque, available with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission.
Expected to launch by late 2024, it will continue to rub shoulders with the likes of MG Hector Plus and Mahindra XUV700, Kia Carens, and more.
Verdict
The updated Alcazar , although a longer wheelbase version of the Creta, will continue to offers something different. With the LED DRLs spied with a new pattern previosuly, you will get to know more details as it gets spotted more on the roads. However, it faces tough competition from the Kia Carens, another very strong competitior known for its comfort and the overall package it offers.
