Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive has replaced the Prestige variant. The prestige executive variant loses some of the features such as a bigger touchscreen.
In the recent change, Hyundai India has updated its Alcazar with a new variant. Hyundai Alcazar is now available with a new base variant. Badged as Prestige Executive, the new variant is a replacement to the old discontinued Prestige variant. The ex-showroom price of the Prestige Executive stands at Rs 15.89 Lakh (New Delhi).

Prestige Executive Base Variant Details
So, what's new in this variant? The main changes are limited to the deletion of a few features. For example, the Prestige Executive variant will not offer the 10.25-inch touchscreen as seen on the other higher variants. A new 8-inch small touchscreen will feature in this variant. Hyundai also offers the same touchscreen on the middle-spec variants of the Creta SUV.
Seems like Hyundai has come up with this variant to solve the semiconductor chip shortage issue. A lot of manufacturers are also deleting tech-related features to cope with this omnipresent problem in the automotive industry.
Additionally, the BlueLink connected car technology by Hyundai is not offered on this variant. This technology allows the user to know the car stats, start the car, and even change the settings via the smartphone app. This feature was highly appreciated on the Alcazar people mover.
Although, Hyundai is still offering wireless Android Auto and the Apple CarPlay features. The voice commands on the Alcazar Prestige Executive variant have also been retained for the new customers. Meanwhile, the SOS button, auto-dimming IRVM, chrome door handles, and the burglar alarm goes missing on the new base variant.

However, features like the 17-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, LED headlights, panoramic sunroof, cruise control, etc. remain on offer with the new base variant. Hyundai is offering both the 6-seater as well as 7-seater versions for the Prestige Executive variant. The Prestige Executive variant offers both petrol as well diesel engine options. Additionally, it is available with both manual and automatic gearbox options for customers.
Hyundai has priced the petrol Prestige Executive at Rs 15.89 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) & diesel Prestige Executive at Rs 16.30 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The rivals include - Mahindra XUV700, KIA Carens, and Maruti Suzuki XL6.
