What sets the upcoming Creta apart for the Indian market is its distinct design, differing from the facelifted version available in other countries. The spied test models in India reveal notable changes, including a fresh grille, LED lighting both at the front and rear, revised front and rear bumpers, and a new set of alloy wheels. The latest spy shot reveal connected taillamps, keeping the exterior cues in accordance with the evolving elements in the segment.
Interior: Updated Theme And Feature Boost
The upcoming Creta facelift is poised to introduce a host of additional features, drawing inspiration from the recently launched Kia Seltos. Envisaged upgrades encompass a larger infotainment system, a revamped digital instrument cluster, a blind-spot monitor, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree surround camera, and a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) suite. Anticipated amenities also include a powered driver seat, ventilated front seats, a voice-controlled panoramic sunroof, redesigned aircon vents and HVAC panel, multi-color ambient lighting, a wireless charger, and an air purifier.
Hyundai Creta Facelift: Under The Hood
Hyundai India is likely to retain the current 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol and diesel engine options for the upcoming Creta facelift. However, a notable addition is expected in the form of a new 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, available with a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT unit. The transmission lineup may also include a six-speed iMT, automatic torque converter, and a CVT.
The upcoming Hyundai Creta is set to rub shoulders with the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, MG Astor, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, Honda Elevate, Skoda Kushaq and the Citroen C3 Aircross in the mid-size SUV category
