The Grand i10 Nios, and Aura, which are Hyundai Motor India Limited's (HMIL) entry-level vehicles, are all set to receive a facelift. The 2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios & Aura are scheduled to be launched on 20 January. Since last week, the brand has been taking bookings for both automobiles. The upcoming facelifts' specifications, features, and details have already been made public by Hyundai; the only mystery left to be solved is the price.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios
The redesigned Grand i10 NIOS for 2023 is mostly an exterior design update. The Grand i10 NIOS has experienced a significant exterior aesthetic update. The new facelift gets an upgraded exterior that boasts of new era design with painted black radiator grille, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a newly designed body-colored front bumper. The new Grand i10 NIOS has swept-back LED projector headlights up front. It receives new 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels on the sides. The hatchback's rear has a revised profile and a new LED tail lamp with a connecting line.
Hyundai's entry-level hatchback's new generation places a big emphasis on safety. The safety features include up to six airbags, ABD with EBD, keyless entry, central locking, seatbelt reminders, reverse parking sensors, TPMS, ESC, VSM, ISOFIX child seat mount, rear parking camera, automatic headlights, rear defogger, and more.
The 1.2-liter petrol engine, which produces 83 bhp and 113.8 Nm of maximum torque, and the 1.2-liter petrol+CNG engine, which produces 69 bhp, will both be available in the 2023 Hyundai Aura.

2023 Hyundai Aura Facelift
The major update in the 2023 Aura is in the front fascia. In place of the Hyundai Aura's single-piece grille, there is now a thin top section and a wider lower element that houses the LED DRLs and sloping air ducts. To make place for the new black grille, the front bumper underwent a minor renovation, making it appear more aggressive.
The entry sedan from Hyundai now has up to six airbags, four of which are standard. Additional safety features include automatic headlights with Vehicle Stability Management, TPMS, ESC, Hill Start Assist Control, and a burglar alarm.
The car's mechanical parameters have not been changed by Hyundai. It still has the same 1.2-liter petrol engine, which produces maximum torque of 113.8 Nm and 83 bhp of power. A bi-fuel version of the same engine is also available; it features a 5-speed manual transmission and a maximum torque of 95.2 Nm and 69 bhp of power.

Verdict: With the improved safety features and fresh design language, the brand will be able to attract a sizable consumer base despite the growing competition. The primary factor will still be price; if the brand can control it, it will be able to sell a sizable amount of Hyundai's entry-level models.
