India's second-largest carmaker, Hyundai is keen on bringing performance cars on a budget. They started the trend with the pony 1.0L in the Venue then the bigger 1.4L Creta and now Hyundai is inclining towards a more powerful and enthusiast-friendly engine and the i20 N Line has been spotted testing again.
This image was taken by our source on the Eastern Peripheral Expressway where it was clocking above 140 kmph. Now, this is pretty normal for a performance car and we believe that the carmaker must be testing the high-speed capability. Also, the track performance will surely improve with the N Line i20.
Styling-wise, the front will carry a whole new aggressive bumper and air intakes. The grille carries a chequered style design and the N-line badging. Similarly, the skirting continues on the front bumper then moves along the side and then the rear.

We can also expect bigger alloy wheels at the sides and a diffuser at the rear. Similarly, you will get a twin exhaust that gels well this i20 N Line. Internationally, the N Line is available in four different colours - Brass and Polar White, Phantom Black, Aurora Grey and Polar White with a contrast black scheme. For India, we expect dual-tone white and black along with fiery red and black.
Moving to the interiors then you get N-Line badging, black interiors with red highlights on the AC vents, gear lever, door pads and the stitching is observed on the seats and at the exclusive N-Line steering wheel. One will also get sporty aluminium pedals for the N-Line version.
Under the hood, the Hyundai i20 N-Line will continue with the 1.0-litre, three-cylinder BS6 compliant petrol engine. This motor generates as much as 120 PS of power with a peak torque of 172 Nm. a 6-speed iMT will be on the offer but we really wish if Hyundai could bring in a 6-speed MT. We say it because this N-Line will have a superior exhaust note and driving a manual is always fun. Please note that Hyundai might tweak the suspension for the N-Line.
