The variants of the upcoming Hyundai i20 N Line are now out along with the engine detail. The leaked document from the type-approval authority brings out more information on the upcoming performance packed hatchback. Let's have a look.
Hyundai i20 N Line will be available in two variants - N6 and N8. While we believe that the N6 will be based on the Sportz trim, the N8 will either be based on Asta or Asta(O). The performance hatchback will be available with a 6-speed iMT for both the variants and the 7-speed can be expected for the top of the line, N8 variant.
Powering the i20 N Line is the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. This unit was first seen on the Venue and it churns out 120 PS of power with a peak torque of 172 Nm. The power figures of the i20 N Line are the same as the regular i20 turbo but we do expect some retuned suspension work to bring agility to the car while cornering.

It might also get a tweaked headlight pattern with integrated LED daytime running lights at the top and projector foglights that give better illumination on dark roads.
Do expect bigger alloy wheels, black contrast theme on ORVMs, roof and door handles. The changes on the interior stick to an all-black cabin theme with contrast red stitching and the addition of features that will be exclusive to the i20 N Line only.
Feature-wise, the i20 N Line continue with a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with BlueLink connectivity, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It also gets automatic climate control, wireless charging, power-folding ORVMs, an air purifier and more.
