Hyundai India 6/7th Year Extended Warranty Explained
Basically, Hyundai gives a standard 3-year/60,000 km (whichever comes first) warranty on all of its cars. After the warranty gets over, or before, the customers can opt for various extended warranty programs. Hyundai has designed these extensions based on various customer usage patterns. These include the feedback from customers as well. There are a total of 3 variable schemes to choose from.
The new extension of warranty is only available for petrol cars and SUVs. The first scheme is for those whose cars are 5 years old. These customers can buy an extended 2-years/1,00,000 km warranty. The premium ranges from Rs 6,989 - 27,762 depending on the model and delivery period slab.
The second slab is for the customers who own cars 4 years old. These customers can opt for an extension of 3 years/1,00,000 km of warranty. The prices range from Rs 9,521 - 37,820 depending on the model and delivery slab.
And the third option is for those Hyundai owners who wish to continue their existing 3-years/1,00,000 km warranty. These buyers can opt for the additional 4 years/1,00,000 km of extended warranty. This comes on a premium of between Rs 15,154 - 46,530 depending on the model and delivery slab.
This new extended warranty program stands for all the cars like Hyundai Aura, Grand i10, & 2022 Venue. Additionally, the SUVs like Creta, Tucson, & Alcazar also come under this slab. It must be noted that discontinued cars like the Eon are not covered under this new scheme.
