Hyundai Expected to Foray into F1?
Some reports mention that Hyundai is planning to buy an F1 team to make its entry into Formula 1 racing smooth. Andretti has been eyeing to join the sports. However, due to some issues, they were unable to make it. But now there are expectations that the team will join the F1 racing in 2026 when they get the GM-powered. In this case, if Hyundai buys an existing Formula 1 team, the brand might need to utilize the engine derived from another manufacturer.
Some reports also mention that in case if new regulations are implemented which will emphasise more on Hybrid powetrain, Hyundai will surely use its own technology to power the F1 cars.
