India's first connected SUV, Hyundai Venue has now received two new variants in its line-up. Unfortunately, we also see some older variants that are now discontinued as of this moment. The new variants are S(O) and SX(O). The former is reserved for 1.0L petrol (iMT and 7-speed DCT) while the SX(O) only gets limited to 1.5L diesel.
The current line-up includes - E, S, S(O), S+, SX, SX Executive, SX+ and SX(O). There's also a Sport SX and Sport SX(O). Here's a description as to which variant is available with which engine option -
Hyundai Venue E - Rs 6.92 lakh
The base model now comes in a 1.2L engine configuration. Earlier, this could be had in 1.5L diesel too.
Hyundai Venue S - Rs 7.70 lakh
The most value for money variant is limited to 1.2L petrol only. Earlier, you could bring S with 1.0L (iMT and 7-speed DCT) along with the 1.5L oil burner.
Hyundai Venue S(O) - New Variant
The 1.5L diesel (Rs 9.45 lakh) and 1.0L turbo petrol offered with 6-speed iMT (Rs 9.04 lakh) and 7-speed DCT (Rs 9.94 lakh) comes for the newly added S(O).

Hyundai Venue S+ - Rs 8.57 lakh
Like before, this variant remains unchanged and is only offered with 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol.
Hyundai Venue SX and SX+
1.5L diesel and 1.0L turbo petrol with 6-speed iMT, 6-speed MT and 7-speed is offered on the SX. The SX+ comes with 7-speed DCT only at Rs 11.61 lakh.
SX - Rs 10 lakh for all the transmission options.
Hyundai Venue SX(O) Executive - New Variant
This variant sticks with the oil burner only. Price - Rs 10.97 lakh
Hyundai Venue SX(O)
This variant now sees 1.5L diesel (Rs 11.60 lakh) and 1.0L petrol with 6-speed iMT (Rs 11.28 lakh) only. Earlier, it used to come with 6-speed MT in 1.0L turbo petrol iteration.
Sharing details on the engine details then the 1.0L turbocharged petrol is the power-packed of the lot. It delivers as much as 118 bhp with 172 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed manual, 6-speed iMT and 7-speed DCT are on offer. Then we have the humble 1.2-litre, a four-cylinder naturally aspirated unit that pumps out 82 bhp with 114 Nm of peak torque. Then we have the oil burner that is a detuned version of Hyundai Creta. You get a 6-speed manual transmission and this unit kicks out 99 bhp with 240 Nm of peak torque.

Feature-wise, Hyundai Venue gets a larger 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You also get wireless charging, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, BluelInk connected technology, rear AC vents, cruise control, leatherette seat upholstery and more.
Safety features on this one include six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP, tyre pressure monitoring system, ISOFIX mount child seat points, front seat belt warning, rear parking sensors, high-speed alert system, hill hold control, traction control and among others.
