Hyundai Venue SX Now Gets Steel Rims Instead of 16-inch Alloys - VIDEO

Hyundai Venue is one of the most popular and one of the best-selling sub-4-metre compact SUVs in India. The Venue was first launched in India in the year 2019 and over 1 lakh units of the SUV were sold just within a year of its official launch. The SX trim is considered the most value for money variant of the Hyundai Venue and recently Hyundai has given it a minor update.

Hyundai India has replaced the alloy wheels of the SX trim of the Hyundai Venue with new 16-inch steel rims. Previously, the Venue used to get five-spoke alloy wheels with a dual-tone treatment shod in 215/60-R16 tyres. However, those cool looking alloy wheels have been now replaced with a steel rim that gets a dual-tone wheel cover which lends it a unique five-spoke alloy wheel type appeal, but it's just a 16-inch steel rim with cover.

Apart from this cost-cutting measure, the other bits on the Venue SX remain the same as before. However, it needs to be mentioned that Hyundai hasn't reduced its price. Now, if we talk about the mechanicals of this SUV, so the Venue SX gets two engine options. The first one is a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor churns out 120 PS of power and 172 Nm of peak torque. This engine in this particular variant of the Venue comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 6-speed iMT.

It comes mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox only. The popular and most value for money SX variant of the Hyundai Venue is currently priced between Rs 9.99 lakhs - Rs 10.40 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi. Whereas, in general, the Venue is currently priced in India between Rs 6.92 lakhs - Rs 11.78 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
