And now news comes in from Gujarat where the Jai Ganesh group has gifted 8 new MG and Ford cars to the Rajkot police for patrolling. This gift is given to show support and gratitude towards the Corona warriors. This group runs new car dealerships of Ford and MG Motor.

Jai Ganesh Ford has gifted 4 Ford cars in total - Endeavour, Ecosport, Aspire and Figo. Likewise, Jai Ganesh MG has also given 4 MG Hector SUVs to Rajkot police. Both the dealerships are owned by Rajnikant Patel. These cars will be used in patrolling by Ratkot police in the tough times of COVID-19 pandemic. Rajnikant Patel, MD of Jai Ganesh group gifted these 8 cars to the Commissioner of Police Mr Manoj Agrawal, Rajkot police.
All the cars are brand new and the entire Ford range is BS6 compliant. Ford recently updated all their range to BS6 emissions. Ford Endeavour has recently undergone an update with a new 2.0-litre diesel engine churning out 170 Ps paired with 10-speed AT. Ford has also updated the Ecosport, Aspire and Figo with BS6 petrol and diesel engines.

MG Motor has also launched the Hector with BS6 petrol and diesel engines some days back. The 2.0-litre diesel produces 168 hp and 350 Nm of torque paired with 6-speed manual. The petrol engine is a 1.5-litre turbo producing 141 hp paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT.
All the 8 cars will be used by Rajkot Police for patrolling in the affected areas from COVID-19 and help the police to work effectively. Everyone should contribute to their level in these tough times and come together to defeat this global pandemic.
