Jawa Motorcycles - New Colour Schemes and Price
Jawa Motorcycles has launched two new Army colours for its motorcycles. They are - Khakhi and Midnight Grey colour shades. Just a few days ago, the company celebrated International Jawa Day and the year 2021 also marks the 50th anniversary of India's victory in the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. Thus, to commemorate this occasion, Jawa Motorcycles has chosen to celebrate it by saluting the spirit of bravery, service and valour of the Indian Army with two new colour editions. The Jawa Khakhi and Midnight Grey colours have been launched in India and their price is Rs 1.93 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi.
Jawa Celebratory Editions - What's New?
These new celebratory editions of Jawa Motorcycles get a stunning colour scheme that resembles the colour of the Indian Army. These motorcycles feature an all-black theme for the lower portion of the body and the rest of the bits remain identical to the Jawa Forty-Two 2.1. Jawa Motorcycles says, "What makes these motorcycles special is the commemorative emblem that proudly features the prestigious Indian Army insignia flanked by a 'laurel wreath' symbolising the 1971 victory. The company also says that it is the first manufacturer to be allowed to do so on a production motorcycle and they are honoured to do that. These things make this bike truly very special.

According to Jawa Motorcycles, the new Khakhi colour scheme "signifies the spirit of selfless service to the nation by the men in uniform" while the Jawa Midnight Grey "is inspired by the Battle of Longewala, fought in the western frontier along Rajasthan border." Presenting these two new colours of Jawa as a tribute to the 1971 war victory, Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO, Classic Legends said, "It gives us immense pride to dedicate the Jawa Khakhi and Jawa Midnight Grey to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the 1971 war victory. As a company, we are honoured to carry the Indian Army's insignia on our motorcycles that will forever remind the riders of the bravery and sacrifices made by our soldiers to keep our motherland protected."

Jawa Celebratory Edition - Engine Specifications
The mechanicals of the motorcycle remains the same as before and so these Jawas are still powered by a BS6 compliant 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected engine.
