All the above variants get a uniform hike of Rs 90,000 and the carmaker has also discontinued the popular, Longitude (O) variant from the line-up. It was available with a petrol-auto combo and a diesel-manual option.

Jeep Compass is powered by two engine options - 1.4-litre petrol and 2.0L diesel. The former is a four-cylinder, turbocharged unit that pumps out a peak power and torque of 161 bhp and 250 Nm, respectively. This engine is paired to a six-speed manual transmission as standard and a 7-speed DCT as an option.
The 2.0-litre diesel belts out 168 bhp of power with 350 Nm of peak torque. This engine is quite popular and is also seen in the rivals like Tata Harrier, MG Hector, MG Hector Plus and Tata Safari. In the Compass, this motor gets paired to a 6-speed MT as standard and 9-speed automatic transmission as standard.
