With the current season being packed with launches, and the upcoming festive season, one cannot expect Kia to be left behind. The Kia Seltos, Sonet, and the Carens now come in new Gravity Edition variants, as a result of the Korean carmaker celebrating its fifth year in India. The Gravity Edition cars are based on the standard variants and add some more equipment.

Kia Seltos Gravtiy Edition
The Seltos Gravity Edition is based on the HTX variant, and can be had with either the 1.5-litre nat-asp petrol, or the 1.5-litre diesel. In this instance, the petrol can be had with either the 5-speed manual or the CVT, while the diesel can be with just the manual. Here's a short price list of the Seltos Gravity Edition (all prices ex-showroom):
- Smartstream G1.5 Petrol MT: Rs 16.62 lakh
- Smartstream G1.5 Petrol CVT: Rs 18.05 lakh
- D 1.5 CRDi VGT MT: Rs 18.20 lakh
The Seltos Gravity comes equipped with features such as a dashcam, front ventilated seats, Bose sound system, and an electronic parking brake on the CVT. On the outside, it gets 17-inch alloy rims, body-coloured door handles, a Gravity emblem, Indigo Pera interior upholstery, and it is available in two paint schemes; Glacial White Pearl and Aurora Black Pearl.

Kia Sonet Gravity Edition
The Sonet Gravity Edition is based on the HTK+ trim, and it is available across all three powertrain options. Here's a look at its prices:
- G1.2 5-speed MT: Rs 10.49 lakh
- G1.0 turbo-petrol 6-speed MT: Rs 11.19 lakh
- D1.5 6-speed MT: Rs 11.99 lakh
The Sonet Gravity is available in the following paint schemes; Pearl White, Aurora Black Pearl, and Matte Graphite. Additionally, it also receives 16-inch alloy rims, a Gravity emblem, rear adjustable headrests, rear armrest with cupholders, 60:40-split rear seats, and Indigo Pera upholstery with Navy stitching.

Kia Carens Gravity Edition
The Carens Gravity Edition is also available across all three powertrains, and it is based on the Premium (O) variant with additional features. This is what its price lineup looks like:
- 1.5 MPi MT: Rs 12.09 lakh
- 1.0 turbo-petrol iMT: Rs 13.49 lakh
- 1.5 diesel MT: Rs 13.99 lakh
The Carens Gravity Edition comes with a dashcam, sunroof, black artificial leather upholstery, leather-wrapped steering wheel, leatherette door trims and armrest, LED interior lighting, and a Gravity emblem.
Verdict
The Seltos, Sonet, and the Carens have been three major hits for Kia India. With continuous updates, Kia is doing well to keep these models fresh and relevant. By offering a wide range of features at a tempting price tag, while also adding peace of mind and reliability, these three options from Kia continue to remain popular among buyers.
