The Kia Sonet is all set to be launched in the Indian market on 18 September. The car, which shares its powertrain options with the Hyundai Venue, will be offered as one of the most aggressive and bold SUV in the sub-4M compact SUV segment. With this being said, we now have the real-life images of the Kia Sonet with us. Check out how the car looks in different exterior colour shades.
To start with, the Kia Seltos can be had in seven different exterior colour shades which include - Silver, Grey, Red, Black, Blue, Golden, and White. Apart from this, three dual-tone colour schemes too will be on offer on the higher trim options. Moreover, the GT Line models will feature red accents and blacked-out elements to add-on to the overall sporty appeal of the car. The GT line models will also feature a different alloy wheel design with red brake callipers.

The Kia Sonet will be powered by three different engines. These include a 1.2-L naturally-aspirated Smarttstream engine that produces 83 Ps and 115 Nm of peak torque. This engine will be available only with a 5-speed MT gearbox. The second petrol engine on offer will be the 1.0-L T-GDI petrol engine. This engine delivers a peak power output of 120 Ps while the peak torque output stands at 172 Nm. A 6-speed iMT and a 7-speed DCT gearbox will be on offer with this engine. The third engine on offer is the 1.5-L CRDi engine. In the lower variants of the car, this engine will produce 100 PS and 240 Nm of peak torque while in the higher variants, it will deliver 115 PS and 250 Nm of maximum torque. This engine comes mated to a 6-speed MT or a 6-Speed AT gearbox. It is worth noting the fact that the Sonet will be the only car in the segment to be offered with a proper automatic gearbox.
