Welcome the Lectrix Nduro, a new e-scooter from the brand Lectrix, launched at Rs 59,999 with Battery as a Service (BaaS). The Nduro is available with two battery pack options: a 2.3 kWh and a 3.0 kWh. It also boasts several smart connectivity features, which I will discuss below. Price
The Lectrix Nduro with BaaS (2.3 kWh) costs Rs 59,999. Without BaaS, the 2.3 kWh version costs Rs 89,999, and the 3.0 kWh version costs Rs 99,999. So, in total there are three variants.
Lectrix Nduro 2.0
This e-scooter is available in two variants, Nduro 2.0 and Nduro 3.0 - First talk about the first one. The 2.3 kWh is the battery pack, and the IDC range is 90 km. Peak motor power is 2400 watts and it does 0 to 60 km in 5.1 seconds with a top speed of 65 km.
Other features include LED lights, 5 Inch digital display, USB mobile charging / mobile holder, front hook, hill hold, secure mode, side stand cutoff, alert, SOS and Reverse mode. Also Lectrix claims standard battery warranty of 3 years or 36,000 km. Lastly, with mobile app connectivity, Lectrix rider unlocks Theft Alert, Plan my trip, Charging alerts, Live Location, Easy Locate, Remote Immobilization, Speed Lock, SOS.
The under-seat storage is 42L, with space to keep a helmet, charger, backpack, and a utility pocket. Lastly, the total weight of this e-scooter is 117 kg.
Lectrix Nduro 3.0
The second variant with 3.0 kWh pack provides a range of 117 km and surprisingly, the 0 to 60 km is slower than the first model, 5.5 seconds to be specific. To add more, instead of regular 5 Inch display there is 5 Inch TFT display for better experience. All the other features mentioned in the 2.0 variants are also here.
However, due to the larger battery pack, the under-seat storage capacity is reduced to 30L. Additionally, the kerb weight of this e-scooter is 123 kg.

Verdict
The Nduro by Lectrix looks uber cool, and the circular LED lights are the reason for that. Additionally, its Battery as a Service program, available for just Rs 1,500 per month, will maximize the savings for the owners. Lastly, only e-scooters or e-bikes have the potential to change the growth pattern of the EV industry in the country, and products like these are its front-runners.
