Mahindra eXUV400 EV Details
As per the reports the published over internet, we know a thing or two about the upcoming electric car from Mahindra. The design is expected to be more or less the same as that of the Mahindra XUV300 compact SUV. It is being suggested that this EV is also based on the Ssangyong Tivoli SUV in terms of design & dimensions.
Although, due to the price tag expectations to go higher, the new EV will be bigger in size. It is suspected that the eXUV400 will be longer than the 4.2 mt mark. This means more inside space for better comfort. Additionally, the styling will be different than its ICE-powered cousins.
Days ahead, the company also made it clear that this will be the first car to be made on Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture (MESMA). Sources have been reporting that the car might come with 2 different battery packs. It will have a long driving range setup & the anticipation relies that it might be able to drive more than 375 km on a single charge.
Now, the company has revealed that this car is destined to debut in September 2022. This means the launch is not far away; maybe sometime around the upcoming festive season. Once launched, it will rival the cars like Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV, and Hyundai Kona Electric. We anticipate the pricing to revolve in the range of Rs 15 - 20 lakh.
