1. 2 Extra Doors For Second Row
The Mahindra Thar Roxx upgrades the current Thar with the much-needed and practical 2 extra doors for the second row, making it a proper off-roader that will serve your family needs pretty well. Also, the rear seats can be reclined to adjust your comfortable angle and also be folded flat to increase the boot space massively. Talk about all-around practicality, the second-row seats have it all.
2. Updated Cabin
Coming over from the 3-door Thar, the Thar Roxx gets a flat-bottom steering wheel with controls along with a bigger 26.03cm infotainment display and a similar-sized fully digital instrument cluster. The push button start/stop is placed just below the steering on the column itself. Apart from this, a premium-feel light-coloured seat upholstery exudes a more plush experience.
3. Level-2 ADAS Now With Thar Roxx

The Thar Roxx gets an added wheelbase and as a result, apart from including a proper second row, the Roxx gets a very practical and massive boot space that is now useful to carry good enough luggage without the need for an overhead roof rack for your off-road expeditions for most of the trips. Engine Details
The Thar is offered with a choice of two engines: a 2.0-liter turbo-petrol and a 2.2-liter diesel. The petrol unit delivers 150hp and 330Nm in base manual trims, increasing to 160hp (torque remains at 330Nm) in higher-spec variants. The automatic petrol version boasts 175hp and 380Nm. The diesel engine produces 150hp and 330Nm in rear-wheel-drive manual and automatic configurations, while the top-spec four-wheel-drive automatic variant generates 171hp and 370Nm.
Verdict
Thar Roxx looks and feels promising with what it offers at its first glance. A practical second row seating, more boot space, and a feature list that is miles ahead of its 3 door version. Looking at everything that it comes with, I think this is going to be the front runner, leaving the Thar 3-door behind in sales.
