- Mahindra XUV400 Electric's first batch is delivered to customers
- Available in two variants with starting price of Rs 15.99 lakh (ex-showroom)
The deliveries of Mahindra XUV400 electric have begun in India. To its customers around the country, the first 400 vehicles have been delivered. The brand started prioritising the top-spec EL model deliveries, and later this year, it will start doing the same for the other variants. Also, the introductory prices are only available for the first 5,000 bookings made for both variants.

Mahindra XUV400 Electric - Specs & Features
The Mahindra XUV400 is powered by two lithium-ion battery alternatives with sizable capacity of 39.4 kWh and 34.5 kWh, and it boasts the highest maximum power of 110kW (150PS) and torque of 310 Nm in its segment. The eSUV accelerates from 0 to 100 kmph in 8.3 seconds, making it the fastest eSUV in its class. The motor produces 310 Nm of instantaneous torque. The XUV400 has a range of 375 kilometres with a 34.5 kWh battery and 456 kilometres with a 39.4 kWh battery.
It has a 7-inch infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and the BlueSense Plus App delivers more than 60 mobile app-based connected services, including access to nearby charging stations, Mahindra service stations, tracking the location of the car, and many others. Additional features include leatherette seats, steering-mounted controls, automatic dual-zone climate control, LED headlamps, LED DRLs etc.

Mahindra XUV400 - Prices
There are two variants in the lineup for the Mahindra XUV400 EV, namely EC and EL. Priced at Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the higher-spec EL is more expensive, whereas the EC variants has two prices based on the charger. The 3.3 kW charger model costs Rs. 15.99 lakh, while the 7.2 kW charger model costs Rs. 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
Verdict: Tata Nexon EV, which is presently the segment leader, and the XUV400 electric are directly in competition. Both SUVs are well-equipped and provide a respectable range.
