- Mahindra has commenced the bookings for XUV400 EV from today i.e. 26th January 2023.
- The all-electric SUV is priced in the range of Rs. 15.99 lakh to Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
- Available in two variants EC and EL, the introductory price is applicable for the first 5000 bookings of each variant.
Mahindra & Mahindra launched its first fully electric mass-market vehicle in India, the XUV400 EV on 16th January 2023. With prices starting from Rs. 15.99 lakh and going all the way up to Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the all-electric SUV is available in two variant line-ups i.e. EC and EL. As promised earlier by the company, the bookings for the XUV400 are now open and customers can book it on Mahindra's official website or at the nearest dealership for a token amount of Rs. 21,000/-.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Bookings: Introductory Price, Variants and Delivery Schedule
The Mahindra XUV400 EV is available in two variant line-ups, namely EC and EL. The higher spec EL is priced at Rs. 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom), while the EC get two charger options, the one with a 3.3 kW charger is priced at Rs. 15.99 lakh, whereas the 7.2 kW charger model will set you back by Rs. 16.49 lakh (ex-showroom). However, one important point to note here is that these prices are introductory and only applicable for the first 5000 bookings of each variant. This means that only a total of 10,000 customers are covered under this initial pricing.
Talking about the delivery schedule, Mahindra will commence the deliveries for the XUV400 EL from March 2023, while the customers opting for the lower spec XUV400 EC trim will have to wait for quite a long as its deliveries will start around the Diwali festive season.

Verdict: As the bookings for the Mahindra XUV400 EV have now commenced, customers can book their preferred variant based on their requirements. Only a limited number of people will enjoy the benefit of the introductory price while others will have to pay as per the latest prices prevalent at the time of delivery. The deliveries of the top-spec EL trim will start in March 2023. Whereas customers opting for the lower EC variant, the actual starting point of the electric SUV's price range, will have to wait till the Diwali festive season to get their hand on the vehicle.
