Yes, in a piece of recent information shared by our user, Mahindra is offering lucrative discounts for the XUV500 since the SUV will be discontinued soon.
As per the image shared below, this figure is for the W7 Automatic that comes with a 2.2L mHawk diesel unit. This is a reliable oi burner from the carmaker and pumps out 153 bhp at 3750 RPM with a peak torque of 360 Nm at 1750 RPM. A 6-speed auto is offered and this same gearbox will also be seen on the upcoming XUV700.
Sharing more details on the discount then the ex-showroom price sticks to Rs 16,72,812. Furthermore, including all the TCS, hypothecation charges, green tax, insurance, FASTag and incidental charges, the total amount comes out to be Rs 19,23,100. Over that, the dealer is offering a straight-up Rs 83,600 as a cash offer. Now, that is something.

Do note that, once the XUV700 is launched, the XUV500 will be temporarily discontinued and will later be launched in 2022 or 2023. The sole focus of the new-gen XUV500 will be on the 5-seater and to rival the South Korean siblings, the Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos.
