Sharing details of the MG Astor then it is available with two engine options - a 1.5L petrol and a more powerful 1.3L turbo petrol engine. The former generates 108 bhp with 144 Nm of peak torque. This unit is mated to a 6-speed stick shift as standard and an optional CVT unit.
The 1.3L turbo petrol churns out 138 bhp with 220 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to a 6-speed torque converter unit only. This turbo petrol engine is not the strongest in the competition.
