MG Comet EV Mid and Top Variant New Prices
As per the latest price revision, the Play and Plush variants of the Comet are cheaper by Rs 1.40 lakh. The Play was priced at Rs 9.28 lakh, now Rs 7.88 lakh. Meanwhile, the most feature-loaded trim, i.e., the Plush, was priced at Rs 9.98 lakh previously and is now priced at Rs 8.58 lakh.

The Comet has a 17.3kWh battery pack that generates a peak power of 42 bhp and 110 Nm of peak torque. While it does not support fast charging, the ARAI-claimed range is 230 km. However, the Comet was criticized for its steep pricing at its launch. Now, the latest price cut has brought it in lieu of its competitor Tata Tiago EV.
Verdict
The Comet EV, despite of being overpriced at launch, has been doing good sales numbers for the company. Now, the reduced pricing will surely attract more buyers.
