MG launched the Hector Plus with a starting price tag of Rs. 13.48 lakh for the base petrol variant. While the car directly competes against the Innova Crysta, there is a more highly competent product in the same price range which offers a similar package and seating configuration options. For those who are still not able to guess the car, let me tell you that we are talking about the Mahindra XUV500. If you are in the market to buy a car in this price range, check out our MG Hector Plus Vs Mahindra XUV500 comparison to see which product comes as a better package.
MG Hector Plus Vs Mahindra XUV500 - Looks, and Dimensions
The MG Hector Plus, all thanks to the larger grille and blacked-out elements, looks bold and mature. With modern styling cues such as low set hear-lamps and a bulky side profile, the Hector Plus looks fresh and appealing. The rear too, when compared to the Hector, looks subtle and elegant, and is beautiful enough to attract a number of eyeballs.
Unlike the Hector Plus, the Mahindra XUV500 gets a rather aggressive design with sharp cuts and creases. The large grille upfront with the strong bulges on the hood makes it look imposing and gives it a great road presence. From the sides too, the flared wheel arches and the overall shoulder line gives it a masculine appeal and the large wheels surely grab the attention of the onlookers. The Cheetah inspired design language continues to the rear, giving it a bold and aggressive stance.
