The QJ Motors SRC 250 & SRC 500 are currently available with a discount of up to Rs 40,000 and the Moto Morini X-Cape 650 & X-Cape X 650 are available at a discount of up to Rs 1.31 lakh. QJ Motors SRC 250 & SRC 500 Festive Discount
The brand has announced a discount of Rs 30,000 on the SRC 250 motorcycle, while the SRC 500 is available at a discount of Rs 40,000. After the discount, the SRC 350 is priced at Rs 1.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The SRC 500 on the other hand is now available at a price tag of Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The QJ SRC series boasts modern retro styling with peppy colour options.
The SRC 250 comes with a 249cc twin-cylinder engine producing 17.4 bhp of power and 17 Nm of peak torque. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The bigger sibling the SRC 500 comes with a 480cc single-cylinder engine producing 25.5 bhp of power and 36 Nm of peak torque. This also comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
The QJ Motors lineup in India consists of 4 models namely SRC 250, SRC 500, SRV 300, and SRK 400.
Moto Morini X-Cape 650 & X-Cape 650X Festive Discount
Moto Morini X-Cape 650 Tourer is now priced at Rs 5.99 lakh (ex-showroom) after a discount of Rs 1.31 lakh. On the other hand, the X-Cape 650X Adventure is now priced at Rs 6.49 lakh (ex-showroom) after the price reduction of Rs 1.01 lakh. Both motorcycles can be booked online by paying Rs 10,000 as the booking amount.
The X-Cape 650 Tourer and X-Cape 650X Adventure come with a 649cc twin-cylinder engine producing 60 bhp of power and 54 Nm of peak torque. The X-Cape Tourer gets more road-centric tyres with alloy wheels, while the X-Cape 650X Adventure gets more off-road-friendly tyres with spoke wheels. Both motorcycles come with 7-inch colored TFT digital instrument clusters, Brembo brakes, Marczocchi Inverted forks, and KYB mono-shock absorbers among other features.
The Moto Morini lineup in India consists of 4 650cc motorcycles named Seiemmezzo Retro Street & Scrambler, X-Cape 650, and X-Cape 650X.
Verdict
QJ Motors & Moto Morini brands are not getting a good number of sales in the Indian market. These brands are in competition with some well established players such as Royal Enfield, Kawasaki and others. Moreover, the highly niche segment motorcycles from a foreign two-wheeler maker is still a questionable pick for Indian customers. The new discount offers might help the brand in getting some new customers.
