New TVS Electric Scooter Details
Recently, during an investor interaction call, TVS CEO KN Radhakrishnan revealed that a new e-scooter is on the cards. In fact, this new scooter is planned to be launched in the coming three months. On further being asked about the scooter, he claimed that "it'll satisfy the needs of the customers". While slim to no details are available about this EV, we suspect that it'll be the iQube ST version. TVS already confirmed that ST will launch in India, but it has been a long time since the confirmation. With rivals like Ola S1 Pro & the new Ather 450 Apex, TVS must up its game in the e-scooter market.
The iQube has already received positive response in the tier-1 cities. With the addition of the ST variant, the iQube will offer better range & performance along with more connected features. If this happens, the ST will get a 4.56kWh battery pack that offers an IDC-claimed range of 145 km. This battery pack can be charged up to 80 percent in 4h 6m. The ST variant will also add the fast charging option to the iQube. Also, the top speed of the ST version will be 82 kmph; the highest among all variants.
Verdict
With the confirmation of this new e-scooter, the probability of a complete new e-scooter can also be not denied. Even if the ST variant is launched, the fast charging option will make the iQube even more friendly to use among the new customers. Tell us in the comments what you think this new e-scooter can be.
