Nissan has finally rolled out the 50,000th unit of the Magnite from its Chennai plant recently, This sub-4-metre compact SUV scored a global NCAP rating of 4 stars and is quite popular in the Indian market because of the long list of features, its striking design and the prices.
Powering the Nissan Magnite are two petrol engine options - 1.0-litre, non-turbo unit that generates as much as 71 bhp of power with a maximum torque of 96 Nm while the 1.0L turbo petrol makes 99 bhp with 160 Nm of peak torque. In its CVT form, the turbo motor generates 152 Nm of maximum torque. Both these engines get a standard 5-speed manual transmission.
Feature-wise, Nissan Magnite is equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, cruise control, 360-degree camera and among others.

Safety-wise, Nissan Magnite scored a global NCAP rating of 4-stars. It also gets dual airbags at the front, a high-speed alert system, front seat belt reminder, reverse parking sensors, hill hold control, ABD with EBD and electronic stability control, speed-sensing door lock and more.
Nissan Magnite is priced from Rs 5.76 lakh to Rs 10.15 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It competes with Mahindra XUV300, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, Toyota Urban Cruiser and Maruti Brezza. Will you buy this over its rivals?
