Nissan Magnite has proven to be a popular product for the brand in India since its launch in 2020, attracting a big number of customers. Nissan India has now increased the price of their most popular vehicle. The Magnite sub-compact SUV is now up to Rs 41,000 more expensive as a result of the current price increase. There are no mechanical or feature upgrades to accompany this price hike. The Magnite XV Premium and XL Turbo CVT models have also been discontinued by the company.

The price increase impacts all Magnite variants; the Base XE variant experienced a Rs. 2,901 increase and now starts at Rs 5.87 lakh. The price of the XL model increased by Rs. 3,401, taking it to Rs. 6.79 lakh from Rs. 6.76 lakh. The price of the XV model has increased by Rs 13,300, and it now costs Rs 7.42 lakh. The price of the XL Turbo has increased by Rs. 2,901 and now costs Rs. 7.92 lakh.
The XV Turbo model has seen a price increase of Rs. 33,801 and now costs Rs. 8.77 lakh, while the XV Premium Turbo has seen a price increase of Rs. 9,201 taking it to Rs. 9.33 lakh. The Nissan Magnite XV Turbo CVT has witnessed a price increase of Rs 41,701 and now costs Rs 9.67 lakh. Finally, the top-spec XV Premium Turbo CVT saw an increase in the price of Rs. 20,001, taking it to Rs. 10.20 lakh.

In other developments, Nissan Magnite has reached a new milestone, with over 1 lakh bookings in India. The Nissan Magnite is powered by two petrol engines: a 1.0-litre non-turbo unit that produces 71 bhp and 96 Nm of maximum torque, and a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 99 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque. The turbo motor produces 152 Nm of maximum torque in CVT configuration. Both engines come with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard and an optional CVT transmission.
