Nissan Motor India launched the Magnite Geza edition last year in the Indian market. Previously, it was launched with the manual transmission only, now the brand has launched the Geza Edition with a CVT gearbox option at Rs 9.84 lakh (ex-showroom). Nissan Magnite Geza CVT Edition
The Magnite Geza CVT variant is launched to commemorate the 1st anniversary of the Geza edition in the Indian market. This special edition gets a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, JBL speakers, app-based ambient lighting, rear parking camera, among other features. The interior also gets beige seat upholstery as an option. The Geza edition also gets a Geza badge
Apart from some additional features and the optional interior upholstery option, the Geza edition looks similar and shares some common features with regular variants.
If we talk about the engine specifications, the Geza edition comes with a 1.0-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. This engine churns 99 bhp of power and 152 Nm of peak torque. As the name signifies the CVT version comes mated with a CVT transmission.
Commenting on the launch of the new Nissan Magnite Geza CVT variant, Mr. Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India Pvt. Ltd. (NMIPL), said, "We are delighted to introduce the newest variant of the Magnite following the tremendous success of the GEZA Special Edition last year. We have identified a significant opportunity based on customer feedback in the market to offer premium features at an accessible price point.
Verdict
Nissan Magnite Geza CVT version will offer the customers an option to choose smooth CVT transmission option at an affordable price point. The Magnite CVT with turbo petrol engine is a good B-SUV in India in terms of performance. Nissan Magnite is also one of the most features loaded SUV in its segment and this new variant will help the brand to attract more customers.
