Nissan India recently launched the all-new Nissan Magnite in the country. The Magnite is the first sub-4-metre compact SUV from the company in the Indian market. The Magnite was launched in India in December 2020 and it received a phenomenal response. Upon launch, its introductory starting price was just Rs. 4.99 lakhs, Ex-showroom Delhi, however, after a month, its base variant's price was hiked. Now, the company has once again hiked the price of the Nissan Magnite, but thankfully only of the turbo petrol variants. Let's have a look at the new vs old prices of the Nissan Magnite.

Now, as the price has been hiked, these were the new vs old prices of the new Nissan Magnite. The Nissan Magnite is still one of the most affordable sub-compact SUV one can currently buy in the Indian market. Also, it needs to be mentioned that the new price will be applicable only to the customers who book the car now. The customers who have already booked their cars won't have to shell out extra money for the Magnite as Nissan is providing price protection to its customers. The select variants of the Magnite have a very high-waiting period and also bookings have crossed the 40,000 mark.
Talking about its engine specifications, so Magnite gets two petrol mills with two different transmission options. The first one is a BS6 compliant 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine that churns out 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of peak torque. It also gets a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine. This turbo petrol motor churns out 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and the turbo mill also gets a CVT.
